Meet Krystal Crawford, Training Programs Manager

Krystal joined the APICC team in March 2018, serving as Training Programs Manager for the North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Krystal has a strong background in education, outreach, training and development. Prior to APICC, she worked for the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) in a variety of roles, including Training and Development Specialist for the Alaska Career Information System (AKCIS), and the ACPE Success Center and Communications Manager. Krystal has professional experience in leveraging technology to create comprehensive training resources, and is excited for the opportunity to help modernize NSTC programs and practices.

Krystal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Communication from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from Wayland Baptist University. A transplant from the Northeast, in 2007 Krystal bought a one-way ticket to Alaska and has proudly called this state “home” ever since. When not at work, she can be found building a dry cabin in the woods of Talkeetna, casting flies in the Kenai, or exploring the Chugach mountains.

National Troubleshooting Competition Fundraiser

APICC is once again raising money for the Process Technology students who have been selected to go to the National Troubleshooting Competition in Gonzales, Louisiana. We are looking to raise $10,000 to send a team from the KPC Kenai River Campus and a team from UAF. The money being raised is specifically for student & coach travel to the competition.

This year, we are offering up a team-based fundraising event. You can create a team and raise money for these students. APICC has prizes for the top ranked fundraising team and top individual fundraiser. Please click the button below to learn more.
